Denver Broncos (-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (+3) Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 1 p.m. ET

The Peyton Manning experiment in the Mile High City has been a resounding success this season with the Denver Broncos having won the AFC West division title for us a second straight season and being able to cruise into the playoffs with a chance to potentially lock up the first-round bye. Although a playoff spot is already locked up via division title, the Broncos will be shooting for that first-round bye some much needed rest for the starters that are fairly banged up at this point in the regular season. Coming into Week 15, Manning is making a strong case for a fifth NFL MVP award as he continues to dominate opposing defenses all season long and may continue to do that this weekend against the Baltimore Ravens. Although the Ravens’ defense has been their staple  over the past decade, Baltimore has struggled with injuries all season long on that side of the football and may not be able to contain Manning this weekend despite playing on their home field at M&T Stadium. There maybe some good news coming into this match up with the Broncos on Sunday for the Ravens as superstar linebacker Ray Lewis might be able to get back on the field after dealing with the triceps injury that kept them out most season. Lewis went down with triceps injury in the win over the Dallas Cowboys back in Week 6 and was thought to be done for the year, but that appears not to be the case any longer as Lewis is ready and able to get back on the field this weekend if cleared. Unfortunately, with good news always comes bad as fellow linebacker Terrel Suggs will not be able to get on the field this weekend or at the very least is a game-time decision to get his biceps injury. The combination of Suggs and Lewis has been lethal over the past few years, but it’s taking a backseat this season with both players off and on the field in terms of injuries. The loss of Suggs this weekend may prove to be costly for the Ravens’ defense as they may not have an answer for Manning under center. At this point in time, the Ravens will be the underdogs on their home field with at +3. Baltimore will be tough to beat for Denver, but in the end I see Manning leading his team to victory once again.

Prediction: Broncos -3
