Dallas Cowboys (+3) @ Cincinnati Bengals (-3) Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 1 p.m. ET

The Dallas Cowboys has breathed new life into their season after witnessing the up-and-coming Washington Redskins take down the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants last week. As a result of the loss by the Giants, Cowboys have been thrust back into the playoff hunt due to the fact that they may still be able to win the NFC East division title. The win over the Giants in the first week of the season was enough to keep this team in contention moving forward. With a new sense of purpose in the final four weeks of the regular season, the Cowboys will go on the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday. Although the Bengals are an up-and-coming squad filled with Pro Bowl caliber talent, since then he is still a very young team with a lot of inexperienced and quite streaky throughout the majority of the season thus far. Up and comer AJ Green has been impressive to say the least by proving that last season was not a fluke with perhaps some of the best numbers by wide receiver this year. With Green and quarterback Andy Dalton becoming one the most lethal offensive combinations in the NFL today, the Cowboys defense will be tested to say the least this weekend as their very season may depend on stopping Green from beating them downfield. Although Cincinnati is a talented young team that is also still fighting for a playoff spot in the AFC, the Cowboys are the better all-around team in my opinion and will likely come out with a win on the road this weekend. At this point in time, Cincinnati’s favor to get the win at home with a -3 point spread. The Bengals will put up a hell of a fight at home, but in the end foresee Dallas getting win.

Prediction: Cowboys +3
