Chicago Bears (-3) @ Minnesota Vikings (+3) Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 1 p.m. ET

The NFC North division has become intriguing to say the least in the final four weeks of the 2012 NFL regular season as the Green Bay Packers have been able to climb back up the standings in order to sit atop the division. The Chicago Bears and the other hand have gotten the complete opposite direction as Jay Cutler and company have struggled to get back on track with three losses in the last four games. As a result of the Bears struggles, Chicago has fallen to second place in the division due to the fact that they lost to Green Bay earlier in the season. The division title winner will almost certainly be the team that comes out on top in the showdown between these two bitter rivals next weekend, but in the meantime both teams will face off against other division opponents desperately needing wins stay in in hunt for the division title. although the Bears have found it difficult to get back on track as of late, there’s no questioning the town of the team on both sides of the ball. The offense still needs work as Cutler hasn’t exactly been the force expected in terms of passing yards with the team rank 31st in the NFL in that part, but he has hit it off nicely with his former teammate from the Denver Broncos in Brandon Marshall. With Marshall becoming one of the best receivers in the week since joining the Bears, Chicago has that downfield threat that’s been sorely lacking to go along with the solid ground game led by Matt forte. Along with the offense coming along, defense has been as advertised helping lead this team wins on weekly basis. In Week 14, the Bears will face off against Minnesota Vikings in a must win situation and have been dubbed the favorites to come out on top on the road with a -3 point spread. Chicago should get the win while covering the small spread.

Prediction: Bears -3
