Green Bay Packers (+3) @ New York Giants (-3) Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 8:20 p.m. ET

The Green Bay Packers are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now is they are riding a five-game winning streak heading into Week 12. With Aaron Rodgers and company firing on all cylinders right now, the Packers have renewed hope in winning the NFC North division and clinching a playoff spot as result. Although there still remain a lot of questions on the defense of side of the football for Green Bay, Mike McCarthy’s squad appears to be getting the job done without Clay Matthews or Charles Woodson. With the two best players on defense still suffering with lingering injuries, the team still seems to be doing enough to win consistently and breathe new life into this once dominant football team. The five-game win streak may be intact coming into this weekend in which they will hit the road to play at MetLife Stadium, but they will be facing the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants on their home field and will be faced with arguably the toughest test of the season. This game against the Giants will be a true test to see whether or not the last five games have been a fluke or the real deal as being the Giants at home will have proven the fact that this team is ready to get back to being a legitimate Super Bowl title contender moving forward. As for New York, Eli Manning and company have been awful as of late with a two-game losing streak coming into this matchup with the Packers. The first loss came at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9 (24-20) and their poor play carried over to the matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10 (31-13) before heading into their bye week. Fortunately for the Giants, there is a chance for redemption for the defending champs this weekend on their home field. At this point in time, New York is favored to come out on top in this matchup with Green Bay with a -3 point spread. Although the Giants will be tough to beat at home in front of their fans at MetLife Stadium, the Packers are red hot right now and will likely continue that hot streak while getting the best of Tom Coughlin’s squad on Sunday night.

Prediction: Packers+3
