NFL Season Start DFS contests

With only two weeks until the start of the NFL Regular Season, many are anxious, and that is no exception for the Daily Fantasy Sports sites. For those fans that enjoy playing in fantasy football leagues with their friends, co-workers, or even strangers over the internet, will probably enjoy being able to bet and make some money off of their teams and predictions.

With fantasy sports being a legal recourse for gambling, many amazing sites have popped up including giants like DraftKings and FanDuel. As the preseason winds down and the teams start to prepare for the games that actually matter, so are the fans and DFS sites. What’s more, there are several contests that anyone can join and probably walk away with a lot of money; all while they enjoy the sport they love. Some of the contests include:

  • DraftKings $10 Million Millionaire Maker. The Week 1 Millionaire Maker features a $10M guaranteed prize pool, with $2M going to the winner. It is only $20 to enter into this contest.
  • FanDuel $5 Million Sunday Million. A massive $5 million prize pool for Week 1 of the NFL season, where the entry only costs $25, where first prize gets $1 million, second place gets $350,000, and third place gets $150,000.

For those just starting out and have no idea where to get started, simply head on over to FantasyWired, a great resource for people wanting to learn about daily fantasy sports, as well as great information that can be used to help. The rules are very similar to those when you join a fantasy football league, only being able to draft a certain amount of players, possibly having a salary cap, and picking from among the QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, and D.

The start of the NFL season will be amazing, as fans can finally start rooting for their team with a greater passion, as the points now count towards getting to the playoffs, and possibly a chance at the Super Bowl title.
