NFL Power Rankings: Playoffs With the regular season in the rearview, the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers can get back to business as they will have their eyes set on contending for a second straight title and dominating the competition in the NFC Conference.
Pittsburgh Steelers lose running back Rashard Mendenhall with torn ACL It would be hard to argue that the Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t been one of the best teams in the NFL over the past decade or so with multiple Super Bowl appearances and two titles to their credit. Last season they were able to defy the odds once again by reaching the big game, but fell just short of the Green Bay Packers.
Dallas Cowboys lose running back DeMarco Murray (ankle) for the rest of the season Ever since Tony Romo took over for Drew Bledsoe as the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, America’s Team have had one of the more potent offenses in the NFL with Romo’s ability to scramble and make big plays downfield.

Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown left Land Shark Stadium on crutches after injuring his right ankle in Sunday's 25-23 win over the Buccaneers.

The good news: his ankle isn't broken.

Brown confirmed to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald his X-rays came back negative.

Speculation has already started about how long Eagles running back Brian Westbrook will be out after his second concussion of the season. It's too early to know Westbrook's long-term prognosis, but Eagles coach Andy Reid recognizes how serious the situation is. We're going to do everything the right way, and take every precautionary measure to make sure Brian's okay," Reid said.  "In these types of situations, football is secondary. You have to look out for this kid for his future and make sure he is okay before he gets back out there."

If you want to see the game up close and personal, note that a only 1% of Super Bowl tickets are distributed to fans by the NFL, controlled through an annual random drawing that begins in February of the prior year and ends the following June. Otherwise, prepare to pay top dollar for tickets to THE most popular and most-watched sporting event of the year.

Or wait until the drawing opens up again - on February 7, 2010 - for next year's Super Bowl 45, played at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas on February 6, 2011.

The 2010 AFC-NFC Pro Bowl is an upcoming NFL Pro Bowl, a game to honor the all-star players of the 2009 NFL season as selected by fans and their peers. It will take place at 8:00pm EST on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Land Shark Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
For the first time since 1979 (1978 NFL season), the Pro Bowl will be held in the Continental United States. It will be held at Land Shark Stadium, the home stadium of the Miami Dolphins and host site of Super Bowl XLIV.

The NFL awarded the 2010 Super Bowl — Super Bowl XLIV — to Miami and the championship game will be played February 7, 2010 at Dolphin Stadium. It is the 10th time the city, who last hosted in 2007, will play host to the championship event. Some think that it is Florida's weather that is the real winner, and I certainly can't argue with that. The fact that Tampa just hosted the 2009 Super Bowl, pretty much confirms Florida as a "super" location.
